BB&W Fan Says, “Black is what I wanted.”

Readers, do me a favor. Don’t ever stop sending me stuff like this!!

Hi Chris, My sweetness! My wife and I love you for being so upfront and real with your endeavor. In a world of nastiness and critical judgement, it is VERY refreshing to hear a rational live and let live voice. My wife and I get enough head winds of the “live and let die” variety.

Us in a nutshell- Chi is originally from Africa, RN degree from University of Texas @ Arlington, Law degree from University of Texas Austin. She’s tuff, no B.S, strong , intense yet takes what life gives her in graceful stride!

I’m Tiger, raised in So Cal. Grew up in a beach house in Belmont Shores. Business Marketing from THE California State University at Long Beach. I’m laaaaid back. My Dad gave me the name Tiger, cause I did what wanted, when I wanted. I was premature, didn’t want to be in there soooo. I didn’t want to be in a NICU so I made it an early departure. Same goes for my taste in women. Black is what I wanted.

We met in the mid 90’s, when I noticed this fine black woman scoping me from the sand for a couple hours while I surfed. I’ve always preferred black over white for as long as I can remember. I think the hook was set one Saturday morning when I couldn’t take my 12 year old eyes off of Gladys Knight singing on Soul Train. Then there was Dianne Carol, Lt Uhura….I remember vividly telling my father that day, when I grow up, I’m going to marry a girls just like THAT. He told me “Id wouldn’t expect you to do it any other way Tiger!”He was supportive and kind to every woman of color I brought home. My mother….not so much, but I told her like it was. Like punching the bully in a school yard…end of convo. She’s come around.

Married for 20 years and finally had our 2 characters. My kids and I have watched some of your videos. I find them well done, positive and I think they stand as a good learning experience for them on people, some people’s positive love and others bad ju-ju….they ask questions, make comments and it ends up being a very cool open forum in our home.

Just wanted to let you know that we see YOU! Appreciate YOU! Support and respect YOU! I actually stumbled across you by accident!!!

Peace and BIG LOVE
Tiger, Chi, Hobie and Sabine….
