This weekend was a double whammy of a good time for me. I attended one of my favorite yearly conventions, the Make Up Show Los Angeles, and while I was there, I got a chance to see Matthew Hussey at one of his live events. Matthew is amaze balls, but more on that later.

Gingham is making a comeback! I was on my favorite vintage-wear site, Shabby Apple, and I just had to pick this up. The shirt gives a nice, tailored feel and is begging to be paired with some black cigarette pants.

I keep getting lucky with reds, too. This is an absolutely PERFECT matte, rich color from SMASHBOX, color “BING.”
