mskallyj this is done on a one on one basis, all you need is one man that is interested in you and that you are interested in. Not everyone wants to date IRR but many men just like women, period. You have to be open and if they're open, they'll let you know. But don't give up b/c not everyone is interested, not everyone is supposed to be.

eugeniamitchellmskallyj So true Eugenia! I'm a Southern girl and found plenty of wm interested in dating bw. Men like women. And if a wm sees a bw he's attracted to, he'll pursue. Even if he's never dated a bw before (as was the case with my husband). And yes, most wm have a more subtle approach. And those country boys were raised by their Momma's to be respectful to women!

I'm so on the same page mskallyj. Here in Texas, and I find it difficult to read the non bm cues. In my experience, southern non bm (primarily wm and hm) tend to be far more polite and considerate than the bm I encounter. If a bm randomly strikes up a conversation in the line at the grocery store or waits for me to walk 50 yards across a parking lot to hold the door open for me (and he's not 50 or older) I pretty much know he's interested. But with southern wm and hm this seems to be a reflection of their upbringing and not necessarily their interest in me.

JamilaChristelyn I thought the same ... one of my former Marines is married with two children at 22 years old! She and hubby are from Texas and he is about 24!

Jamila the weird thing is they are everywhere now I live in Seattle but I've spoken and seen men from all over the U.S. speaking of their interest in bw in places like Wyoming and North Dakota, places I don't think bw even think to look. Yea it's great on west coast, east coast and parts of the south but this is a big country and an even bigger world we need to keep an eye out everywhere.
