I tried this with some 8 pound weights, and boy were my legs tired! It really works. I'll try this exercise from now on and see what kind of results I get.

Toni_M You're welcome, Toni. And by the way, when are you gonna come over here and write a blog or two, hmmmm?

Christelyn I'd love to blog for you. :) It just seemed rude to ask. If you want, you can repost any of my blogs, and I'll definitely hit you up about articles in the future.

I love free weights and weight training/power lifting in general. Just did 115 lbs bar squats today!

I hate squats, I really do but they work and so I incorporate them in my exercise regimen. Thanks for motivating me!

Karla Karla, what's your daily exercise reggie? Inquiring minds want to know...

Christelyn On Mondays and Wednesdays, I do yoga. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, I do weights after walking to the gym (about two miles from my house) and on Fridays, I do Pilates. Every morning, before anything, though, I do Qi Gong and Tai Chi. I have been doing Qi Gong and Tai Chi for seven years so I can do the long form in my sleep. I love it and it really centers me. At home, I have a barre, a magic circle and a weighted bar because if I have a full day of work, i may not make it to the gym but I won't talk myself out of doing a routine.

Christelyn Oh and I also do iTrain for when I'm traveling. I actually like it because there's a lot of variety.

Karla That's great, Karla! I've mainly dedicated my workout routines to yoga flow and pilates. I'd love to get a barre for my home gym though--where did you get yours?
