@dani-BBW Your latter figure is closer. Those dinners are for the BALLERS of the world, LOL. I worked one when he was running for Senate and it was $5,000 THEN. Glad I got a free plate! One thing I can say is that his staffers took care of volunteers back then. When I would go to these Saturday events with them (most parades in Central and Southern IL), they would feed us GOOOOOOD.

@Matrix12 @Karla NO DOUBT. He came to my grade school when he was campaigning for his first term and he ran around the gym with my gym class. I was in SECOND GRADE and I remember thinking, “he is very cute.” I went home and told my mama and she said, “girl, YES. He just as fine as he wanna be!”
