Kind of man I am looking for? A. Man of faith, intellectual, adventurous, open to trying new things interested in travel, must have a sense of humor.  Must be a gentleman. I am tired of men trying to use me for phone sex and asking for compromising photos. When I say this people question the kind of men I deal with, this behavior comes from guys on from all walks of life so I put it out there.

You hear that, you pervs!  No nekkid pics of Demita!  You ask, and you’re done.

Some people can interpret pictures in a different way. My interpretation is one of mona lisa. Demita has a story to tell. She is a very mysterious woman and only a man of good intentions can reach to the heart of her passionate demeanour, will win her in the end. Good luck with your search, you sensuous woman you:)

Hello, Demetria -

I feel you, girl, regarding the bad treatment on dating sites. I have lost 53 pounds so far since December of last year, so before that I was definitely plus-sized. And I want to tell all of you the dirty little secret about "rainbeaus". A lot of them treat fat women like the brothers treat a dark sister, which is badly. They assign less value to you and figure you must be desperate for company, so they don't hesitate to say nasty things to you. They really don't care if you get offended because if you walk away, they figure it's no loss. They treat you rough, with a cavalier attitude, like you don't have feelings like a regular girl. I have noticed a huge difference in the level of respect and courtesy on the two sites I'm on since I posted my new picture on them. It's been immediate. But I haven't forgotten how guys were treating me before. There is a lot of bias against big women among white and Asian guys, I can tell you that. Just an FYI to all of you that are testing the waters for IR dating.

Demetria, you keep on keepin on. There are guys that don't mind a little extra weight and will love you for you, not your dress size. You're just going to have to look harder and search longer and put up with more BS, but it will be worth it. I didn't lose the weight to please a man, but to please myself and that's the way it should be, IMO.

Hah, not a secret if you are thick and sexy and on a dating site. All you get is perverts of every color seeing if you will give them some sex or at least have phone sex with them. If you're big, they think you should feel honored and lucky they're even paying any attention to you. But I know I'm a prize, so they can just keep it moving.

Miss Demetria,

I just got home from a singing lesson, where I am learning the Habanera, from Carmen. Your look is a perfect Carmen look!

I loooove the Habanera! Its such a lovely song. One of my favourite opera singers is Miss Grace Bumbry (a black woman) She does a beautiful rendition of the song here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qs0E2CufQ7c

I love this picture of you! Its very soft, subtle and feminine. You have this kind of a flirty/mischievous look in your eyes. Its similar to the types of pictures I take, it looks forced if Im showing my teeth. Also I love the flowers in your hair! Black women, Im telling you, the colour red was INVENTED for us! lol
I hope you find what you're looking for Miss Demita, and good luck!
:)

Miss Sarah,

I have that clip bookmarked, and I have been listening to it everyday. I have been scared to learn this aria; I never felt like I could own Carmen. Now, just like Miss Demetria, I am ready! But the French is kicking my ass ...

@Penelope, Thank you for the compliment, I think.........

"isn’t smiling and she doesn’t look happy at all. There is no light in her eyes. Her eyes are dead."

Sadly, You know nothing about me at all, where my joy is or what makes me happy. I am smiling in the picture, just because I am not showing teeth does not mean I am not smiling. Based on the feedback I have received from those who have friended me on FB and viewed my other photos, looking like I am dead in the eyes was not in any of their compliments nor did they ask if black males have damaged me (no they have not to answer your question.

Thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who have responded with much love and support and thanks to Chrys for the "stage" this week.

Hi Demita

First, let me apologize if what I said offended you. I didn't mean to insult you. Here at BB&W we support and love black women. I'm not on FACEBOOK, so I never saw any of your other pictures. I only see this one photo shot on this website. What I meant to say was you look kind of sad and unhappy on "this" particular photo. I was just concerned; not trying to clown you. I honestly do support you and wish you luck, love and happiness. I'm sorry if my remarks were taken out of context or seemed derogatory.

I notice that our goddess of the week isn't smiling and she doesn't look happy at all. There is no light in her eyes. Her eyes are dead. Has she been "damaged" by black males? Has her spirit been broken? She is really pretty and I hope she finds a great rainbeau soon. GOOD LUCK DEMITA!!!!

Good luck!!! Love the positivity!

good luck demita! i love your style and demeanor :)
