Goddess of the Week

Goddess of the Week: Tiffany, Cute as “Pye”

Well, what can I say? I’m from Worcester, MA, but currently live in Philly. I’m very big on spelling and grammar. A spelling freak, if you will. Misspelled words drive me insane. I’m a calm, cool, collected, laid-back Christian chick. I’m shy at first, but when I open up, I’m pretty crazy. Some basic info about me is that I sing, I write, I do spoken word. I LOVE to perform.

I also have a B.A. in American Studies. A lot of people don’t know what that is, but it’s an interdisciplinary subject. Basically, it focuses a lot on race, class, gender, sexuality, social constructions, and media. That being said, I really like having discussions on related issues. A little more about me is that I don’t have a set style. I like variety in my life, so I dress according to my mood and switch my hairstyle frequently. This results in an array of different looks, so I tend to have to remind people that they’ve met me before or else they’ll think I’m a completely different person.

Umm…what else? I can bake, I can cook, I hate cleaning. I LOVE vegetarian and vegan food; that’s mostly what I eat. I will occasionally eat meat, but NEVER pork. I have a thing for vampires. Ever since I saw Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie) when I was six, I’ve been intrigued. (Favorite show: The Vampire Diaries) At first, I wanted to be a vampire slayer just like Buffy, then I realized that I dig vampires way too much to kill them. So…when I decide to dress for Halloween, I put in my custom fangs. I’ve omitted my vampire pic; I don’t want to scare anyone off right off the bat. I’m super goofy(hence the seaweed pic) and inappropriate a lot of the time, especially around my mom and baby sisters. We are INSANE when we’re together. I’ve always been an equal opportunist and very open-minded individual. I credit this to growing up in a wonderfully diverse city. Probably the one thing I love about my hometown, because otherwise, it’s rather boring.

Currently trying to figure out what I want to do with my life because I’m kind of all over the place, and feel I’d be happy doing an array of things. But as of now, I work in a popular restaurant/catering company with some pretty awesome people. I’m working on my music and performing, and just feel like I’m finally having fun with life. I am definitely looking for someone to spend the fun times with, well, all times.

I want to be married like yesterday. I’ve been wanting to settle down for a couple years now. Every older person I speak with says I’m too young to think about all that, but at 25, I feel ancient. I’ve felt old my entire life. I could never really understand most people my age. My mom has actually called me an old woman from the time I was 3 (that could have something to do with the gray hair I had). I just have an old soul, so I ALWAYS attract much older men, which is just fine with me. Twelve years my senior is my limit though. That’s been set in stone since age 12. Well…(I use the ellipsis a lot, but am trying to restrain myself since I heard that it is the slut of punctuation) ta-ta for now.
