Pretty Spring! Au Naturale Creme Shadows!

When I see gold, teal, and fuchsia, I can’t help but think about the natural beauty that spring gives us. I puzzle that some women are afraid of flaunting the colors of nature for fear of looking artificial. Really?? These colors are nature made, and since you are too, there’s a perfect union. The nice ladies at Au Naturale cosmetics gave me a sneak look at two cream shades —Gold and Bora Bora (hemmed turquoise). Both retail for $20, and you can get them in two days if you have an Amazon Prime account.

When used with a primer, the pigments go one brilliantly and stay until I take it off. Creme shadows are fantastic for those who are a little intimidated by all the different brushes that are used with dry shadows, because the best applicator for these products are your fingers. You don’t have to worry about shadow casting off on your upper cheek bones either.

A little on the fingertip goes a long way, and I love that the ingredients for the shadow is almost like an “eye treatment,” because of all the healthy, skin-loving ingredients.

Ingredients: Organic Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Fractionated Coconut Oil), Organic Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Candelilla (Euphorbia Cerifera ) Wax, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Wax, Organic Lavandula officinalis (Lavender) Oil, Polymethylsilsesquioxane (Tapioca) Starch, Iron Oxides, Mica, Titanium Dioxide

The colors on my lips and cheeks are from the creme cheek collection of Au Naturale. It’s called ADRENALINE, and retails for $32. When you think about the fact that this blusher also does double duty as a lippie, you can see the value. Also used the creme highlighter along the top of my cheek bone near the orbital. That also can be used as a lip tint.

Another added bonus is the titanium dioxide, which is an active ingredient in natural sunscreen, so while I’m conditioning my lids, I also give them sun protection.
