I laud your efforts and admit to feasting my eyes on your videos.  Big Up and 'Nuff Respect.  But I would remind you that this process should be more about health than looks.  The looks will follow if the health is right.  Exercise and diet discipline is a lifelong process, a true lifestyle commitment.  I would strongly commend to your reading the book "Younger Next Year".

Blanc2 That I'm very aware...but I mentioned the health aspect for the majority of the video...did you see/hear that part?

Christelyn Yes, I did.  I was just re-emphasizing that.  It can't be emphasized enough, imho.  Get lots of plant-based fiber into your diet, and lots of hard work into your muscles.

Great I love it Chris.  I have been eating healthy for several months, I eat more greens and fruits. lots of kale. I no longer use salt, instead I use garlic powder. Occasionally I eat Baked chicken and I made my own recipesBtw is it ok to feel hungry after eating a few hours later?  I usually have a great breakfast with smoothies and eat fruits  until diner time at six but at eight my belly is crying for food. Is that normal? Christelyn

Lejusdecoco It sounds like you're doing good eating fruits and vegetables, but if you're starving a few hours after a meal, there might be  a few things going on. First, you might need to add protein. Ideally you should have some sort of protein with each meal. Protein doesn't have to mean meat--it can be from powder, beans, brown rice, cheese, or nuts. You might also need to up you "GOOD" fats, which help satiate hunger. It's okay to have olive oil, coconut oil, and even butter in moderate amounts. Also, get yourself some fiber and put them in your smoothies. I like chia or flax seeds. Here's a trick I learned from Dr. Oz (I interviewed him once for a magazine--he's a really nice guy) eat s handful of almonds when you feel hungry, then give it 15 minutes before you eat anything else. It can sometimes take that long for the brain to register that the belly is satisfied. I hope that helps!

Christelyn  Thanks mucho! Dr.Oz is indeed great. oooo thats it I don't add protein at all,  I will start adding beans to my vegetables. I just started to cook with coconut oil and I love it, the food has more flavor. Thanks  a lot, you're my Shero!!!

Lejusdecoco No problemo! Let me know if you have any other questions. If I don't know it, I hunt it down and bring it to you.

I've always been slim but with a big belly. I recently switched to a largely pescatarian diet (I do have chicken occasionally) and I've noticed my stomach fat has reduced drastically. I’m so lazy when it comes to exercise but I want to start cycling again in the summer.

Christelyn 8885 pts moderator

yvonnelee I've laid off the meat too. I eat lots of cheese though...

Looking good! :D

Made the decision to give up pork AND beef as part of a move towards better health. I haven't had any "real" tests so far, since I've had fish and chicken (baked) to eat. I feel like if I can make a month I won't miss them. I'm also trying to cut back on my sugar intake though it's not easy. What I'm looking for is an ideal sugar substitute, especially for cooking.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Toni_M I'm working on a HUGE feature on that as we speak.

You look great Christelyn !  I'm loving your hair and makeup in these latest videos :)  Thank you for speaking up about weight issues.  I can definitely see your passion regarding the subject.

As a side note, my hubby was listening to the first part of your video.  He said most men regardless of race, want a fit and attractive woman.  My husband definitely had a preference towards small and fit.
