Hottie of the Week

Hottie of the Week: Just One More Reason to Love Me.

So because I’m happily married and I could be an aunt (WILL NOT say mother!!!) to some of the guys on my friends list, I thought, Chris, don’t be so greedy. Share the hawtness!

I stared doing this on the BB&W Fan Page, but I’m thinking I might start doing this segment on the regular, because….hell…I like eye candy just as much as the next housewife. AND! I want to disabuse the notions that certain militants of GAT-DL try to ingrain in us that non-black do not want us.

Oh really, GAT-DL?

Take a look-see:

Meet Ranier Falco, a sexy, Filipino, 1/16th Chinese, and 1/16th Spanish equal opportunity dater that if I weren’t married, would break him in pieces. (Did I just say that out loud???)

We chatted over Facebook email and I asked him a few questions just to whet (HA!) your appetite.

How old are you, Ranier?

I am 20 years old, going on 21 this April.

What do you do?

I’m a full time student double majoring in Communication Studies and Visual Communications, which I intend to take with me into the world of Creative Advertising. At the moment, I run 2 blogs: one of which is focused on race, ethnicity, and my personal life {The Love Life of an Asian Guy} (YOU MUST READ THIS HIS POST!) . The other, a fashion blog. In my fashion blog, I take to the streets of San Francisco and the bay area, and I photograph stylish individuals. I’m also a fashion photographer, videographer, and writer for the San Francisco fashion scene. I attend fashion shows, bazaars, and various style related events as part of the official press. I work with designers, models, event planners, and other talented individuals.

Is it just me, or does he kind of remind you of Ne-Yo in the video, "Champagne Life?"

What attracts you to women of color, specifically, what do you find attractive about black women?

The thing I find attractive about black women is that black women are sure. They are self-aware of who they are, what they have, and where they come from. This allows black women to constantly learn and grow and improve, becoming a better person through every decision they make.

A lot of black women know what they want, or where they want to be in life, and I find that incredibly admirable. Their mindset is not that of a pretty girl, but a beautiful woman. (love that line!)

What are you looking for in a partner?

The thing that I’m looking for in a partner is someone who is completely open minded.

Open minded not in just food and culture, but in thinking. Someone who is willing to challenge their own beliefs in order to become better. But I’m not just looking for a person who can only engage in intelligent conversations – I want a woman who I can enjoy and have fun with.

Someone who shares the same sense of humor as I do, and who can just unwind. As far as types of women, I have none. I’m very much open to any “type.”

Wanna get to know Ranier? He’s on Facebook. He’s in San Jose–do you know the way?

Whoever gets a date, you better dish!!!
