The acting was a lot better this time around. Jacob is growing on me now. I think people who are saying it was was cliche/cringey should relax. It's a love story. There are billions of them. This has a bit of a different twist to it. I like it. I would so love to go and watch it with a fellow fan but I don't think I know anyone. Boohoo! blackpanthershay

so, the movie was cheeseball but I was still a bit giddy, i dunno, just because. that said, it was garbage-y next to the book..like Cliff Notes or a school play adaptation of Breaking Dawn. Lots missing. The corny effects made me laugh. Alice's wig was killing me softly, Carlisle looked funny. The other guys looked great. Jake's dad looks like he lost weight.
I want to go to Isle Esme! (haha that was the highlight for me)

I've read all of the books and seen the first 3 movies. Breaking Dawn was the worst book, so I'm not going to be surprised if it is going to have the worst movies. They are doing it in two parts, right? New Moon was the only movie that was halfway decent; the rest were boring and dragged down by atrocious acting.
Oh, and the terrible graphics were funny as hell in the first one.

Christelyn ForestElfQueenTammy_Ghalden OH and was it just me or did Bella's hair go thru some sort of change when she was lying dying and changed colors but just before the dramatic end when they did the last final body shot her hair was back to normal... Did they not edit this movie at all, or do I pay way to much attention to details.
it's been a clown show visually. in the first film, in a lot of scenes, Edward's face only is done and his ears & sometimes neck are red... my mom (the one person i've gotten to watch Twi) asked if they couldn't have at least CGI'd his skintone even or something.lolz
'seems like they counted on the books following to forgive at lot of cheapskateism & rushjobosity. :s

Oh, I'm definitely team Edward! I just love him and Bella together. Separately they are kind of 'meh'. But together.... goosebumps! Lol! I haven't watched Breaking Dawn yet though. Tomorrow I'm off to the cinema. Whoohoo!

Ok ok so will admit this is one of my guilty pleasures and with that said now I wish you would have read the book! I could go on and on how this was not the same story! Ok some things that happened in the movie were part of the book, but there was never a werewolf/vampire fight, Jacob and Edward did not deliver Renesme, and Bella did not die before she there was a long unnecessary view that took 10 minutes for the audience to witness the venom courses through her anatomy!
The book is better and since there is a part two and there really isn't enough left in the story for a second movie I imagine they will drag that out as well, with made up fights and battles that never happen.
But the girls loved it and what a treat to get home at 2:45 on a school night!
Yeah...that was me and Maxi's complaint--they added all this fodder...nothing padded scenes that served no purpose but to bore us and make the movie longer. candezi
Christelyn Hey did you guys notice they kept recycling songs from Twiilight, Bellas song and the song they danced to at the wedding was the one they danced to at the prom. Oh and did you notice when they were in Brazil and he was standing on the cliff of the water fall, his skin was not all diamond sparkling. Does diamond skin not sparkle under brazilian sun?
YES! There was more music than actual dialogue. Ugh! All that money and they couldn't find a decent screenwriter? And what's up with the director telling the actors to do all those overdone pauses and moon-y looks? A little of that is fine, but like every other scene?! COME ON! candezi
Christelyn lmao! well lets just be honest..ok 33 year old hat back on, she is not the best author the books were not written well, or maybe if you consider the audience they were ok. Maybe the screenwriter mirrored the author. But bad author or not she put vampires and werewolves on the pop culture map and there are shows for the young and old alike to enjoy.
I hear bad things but it's sad that it's actually true. Oh well, you suffered for a good cause. How about Maxi-Me was she was not feeling it also? B/c my 14 yo was talking like it was the best thing since Godfather, I roll my eyes. Dang kids!

i know i'm extremely late to this show, but i literally just finisshed watching the movie and omg! i love it!!!!!! i had totally forgotten what the bookwas about in detail, but it reminded me and i love it. i was reminded about being wierded out by the jacob and renesmee angle and the hair and make up were uniformly atrocious. but a beautiful story. and did i mention i love it?! will probably be seeing it again before long.
