You’re kidding, right? If I were single, I would want a man who is willing to commit to me and our future children in front of God and our community, or at least a judge and our community. He wouldn’t be making this pledge to just me and kids, but to the whole community. He would promise to stay and be responsible for our well-being, financially, emotionally, physically, you name it. And I would promise to be responsible for him.

Those commitments made under the covers? Easily made, easily broken and just a continuation of the problem.
