I wouldn't mind buying some true African dresses from African designers. They make some amazing clothes. I love when everyone asks if I got some of my outfits with Tunics/Kameez and Churidar(wide leg) or Salwar pants(straight bunched design) from my native country, lol. Um.....no....I am from the good ole USA. The outfits were custom made from India but they could be from anywhere the people dress similarly to an untrained eye. I like the African patterns out there right now.

It seems that it's either one or the other. Drab or too busy/bright. It's not easy finding the classy, great colors, not to much pattern etc.I am in White House Black Market alot just for that reason. I just get dizzy looking at the super patterned dresses, bright clothes and stripped shirts.
I guess I could do like Karla does and learn to sew and knit a whole wardrobe. Not a bad thought.
Nice stuff, if you like that colour and have that body shape. The real reason to watch the show is Tim Gunn and those two "mean girl" judges, Heidi whatsHerName and Michael Kors.
I'd rather see stuff with some use of colours other than those found in old-school film x-rays. I like to hear, just once, "Designers, today's elimination designs cannot use grey or black. Now, you'll have $300 to spend at Mood..." My grandmother DVR's the thing to watch when I'm not around, so I only see bits and pieces of it.
Also, it would be nice, well at least for me, IDK about the others on the blog, to see models that were not charter members of the Future Manhattan Doctor/Lawyer/Investment Banker Second or Third Wife club. Disclaimer: I think the Ashro catalogue is private porn printed just for me. A couple of women at work dress out of it, including one woman from Brazil who is at the high end of normal BMI and a skinny Asian woman who likes bold prints. It's a fixture in the patient lobby and the employee break room and, uh, sometimes makes its way back to my office accidentally.
