I loved that he smiled (that far off into the distance smile) whenever he started talking about his gf and how they spend time together! I don't even know them and I think they're great! With his perspective on relationships overall they'll be happy for years to come :)

Ricky T is so right on.  I love it when she spoke about his girlfriend being a gamer; he really lit up just talking about her.   Ricky T, yes, you are right; people need to do fun things and explore life.  Work is not everything!

He makes a really good point about doing things together and finding separate activities as well. I remember talking to a former coworker who had been married for years and was lusting after other "younger' women. I said to him 'why don't you take your wife out on a date in order to help with rekindling the romance and make her feel special.' He actually scoffed at me and said something to the effect of 'We are married and married people don't go on dates.' I kept quiet after that because I knew his heart was out of his marriage.

Ummm, methinks you shouldn't show us pictures/images of men in relationships if they're THIS attractive.

I refuse to watch this and lust after another womban's man, LOL.

Several hundred million more, in fact.

I like his perspective and particularly how he describes his/my father.  It's very easy and oddly seductive to withdraw into the world of learning for the sake of learning that professional lives, at least in healthcare, require to the point where what you do subsumes and absorbs, to the point of obliteration, who you are.  Given the cultural expectations Ricky and I both face as 'model minorities', this absorption by the "Borg" of work and study is the expected norm and somewhat the default behaviour.

What Ricky has done in his life is to reject taking the easy way out and actually 'get a life'.  I need to look into that myself, someday; meanwhile, back to telemetry interpretation and dictation.  Reserves this weekend.  More of the same, but with a much stricter dress code.
