I discovered Eve Pearl cosmetics when I attended a pro makeup show in Los Angeles a few years ago, and was extremely impressed with their product lineup, but a bit dismayed with the steep prices. HD Dual Pressed Powder, DARK

Notice how it has a lighter and darker shade? I used the lighter shade to highlight my forehead, cheekbones, and along the bridge of my nose, and filled in the other places with the darker shade. I love the coverage–which looks like a liquid foundation but doesn’t feel heavy and cakey. I still had to use a finishing powder to control the shine in my T-Zone, but that’s not a big deal for me.

I’m wearing the upper left plum color with the two gold shades to the upper left. It’s a soft daytime look, perfect for the office.

Great pigments on this! I’m wearing the color on the left. This is a great palette for darker skin…shows up great, won’t look chalky.
