Stuff I Like: Halo Top Ice Cream…OMG So Yummy and Yes, It’s GOOD for You.

I bet you don’t believe that headline, huh? I could hardly believe it either when I was strolling down the ice cream aisle looking for my sugar-free Clemmy’s and saw Halo. It was new on the shelf, so the writing on the package drew my eye. It said this stuff only had 4 net carbs, 70 calories per serving, 4 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein. I was like, whaaaat??? How dey do daaaaat?? So I decided to do a taste test, buying my usual from Clemmy’s and the chocolate flavored Halo Top.

Oh. My. God. It was so good I took back the unopened Clemmy’s and exchanged for the more expensive yet exceedingly more delicious Halo, this time, Lemon Cake. I can’t even express to you how delicious these are. And the fact that they’re not loaded with garbage is just….

Apparently you don’t have to count the fiber and erythritol (a harmless sugar alcohol) as carbs, so you’re really only taking in 4 carbs per serving. This completely satisfies my sweet tooth and it fills me up to boot. Throw a little protein in it and I love it so much I was to marry it.
