Na. Come on now. Don't spoil it for anyone. If you're young single and ready to party, then it's cool. Croatia is like the new Majorca. It used to be a well-kept european secret. But not so much anymore.
My in-laws went down there with their camper bus and said it was amazing (landscape and beaches).

Christelyn Oh I'm just fine and the baby is a big time screamer. It's super nice having a mother in law who comes over whenever she has time to help with the children (Not that I need it!). Plus swedish dads are great. Google it, they are very famous for being good dads :)
Oh It's nice and all that. Just that it's dirty cheap to vecation down there (the whole area really around the sea) from where I live you can find buy the whole deal (Hotel, flight and transfer between the airport and hotel) for about 100-200 dollars per person if even that for a week or two. So even an unemployed single mum on welfare takes these kinds of vecations. So it have gotten a bit of a white trash label to go there in northern europe.

I'm sorry to hear that Hvar, one of the prettier islands of Croatia, has become such a Euro trash spot. We were there a few years ago, I guess when it was still relatively under the radar to foreigners. In fact, the only people there were Croatian corporate executives, basketball players, and VIPs with their yachts. It was not cheap for us by no stretch of the imagination and we never saw any package deals. Croatia is lovely, don't miss Dubrovnik nor Split.
