Day Three of the Vice 3 Palette: “Get Frosty”

I hear that our East Coast folks got their first snow today. Just in time for my “frosty” look using Urban Decay’s best-ever Vice 3 palette. This look is so impactful, yet soft and feminine and guaranteed to turn heads at any holiday party.

I’ve told you before that this palette is so versatile, you’ll be using it well into the summer. And while it’s on the pricey side, ($60.00) the color payoff and color choice in Vice 3 make it well worth the investment. You can go subtle, BOOM!, or somewhere in the middle, and the gold and yellow undertones are perfect for brown skinned girls.

My color choice for this look is the collection on the far left–LAST SIN, ANGGEL, DEFY, and REVOLVER.

GET THE LOOK:

Prime your lids with your favorite primer. Then add ANGEL to the inner lid, leaving the center of the eye where the eyeball protrudes un-shadowed.

Then apply DEFY on the outer “V” to create a smokey eye effect.

Apply LAST SIN in the center of your eye, where you eyeball protrudes. Be generous. Finally, apply REVOLVER on the bottom lid to be used as a liner, as shown below…

Get equally frosty on the lips. I’m wearing Laura Mercier’s “Pink Diamond” lip gloss, topped with dabs of pigment from Blend Minerals Shimmer Powder, Number 29. I finished with artificial lashes from Eylure…the ones I mentioned in yesterday’s post.

This look is PERFECT for a fancy holiday dinner, New Year’s gala, and a fancy look for date night. Silver, pearl, and gold jewelry really set it off. Try it with a black sheath dress, something gray like a warm, fuzzy sweater, or something winter white. No one will resist doing a double take…trust me!!
