Incredibly sad news: Chris Silber, screenwriter of My Last Day Without You starring Nicole Beharie lost his wife a day ago due to complication from cervical and pancreatic cancer. I last week got an opportunity to meet Joelita “Jo,” who had such a quiet sweet spirit. The movie was loosely based on how Chris and Joelita met, and their whirlwind romance. I feel honored to have seen the scrapbook of how they met, their marriage and the birth of their children. They both share a love that goes beyond the confines of the body.
