Trend Tales: Ballet Flats

While finishing May’s chiczine, conducting interviews and contributing posts as the new fashion and beauty editor over here at BB&W, I have come to the realization that many of you chic women are parents who wish to look chic without the fuss or some fo you aren’t parents and honestly and realistically cannot run around in stilettos all day.

Well I have news for you, thanks to FLOTUS Michelle Obama and French FLOTUS Carla Bruni, both statuesque women in their own right, we are seeing a resurgence of the ballet flat trend that was so popular in the 60s due to celebrities Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy. I mean ballerinas shouldn’t be the only ones who can wear these cute no fuss with all the thrills shoes. Ok so I have a shoe fetish, shut up.

The awesome thing about flats is we can now give our backs and feet a rest in a chic way without compromising our fashion sense. Hint: They go with everything. I’ve put together a guide just for you, BB&W on some fabulous flats circulating the scene, that won’t break the bank.
