Here’s a Slew of Some Amazing (and Effective) Skin Care You Won’t See at Sephora

I’ll admit, Sephora and department store makeup counters had me fooled for a while. I was under the impression that if the products are being sold at such popular venues, they must be the best. I’m glad I finally realized that the quality of a particular cosmetic isn’t measured by shelf space, the the company’s ability to pay for it. Yes; companies pay stores like Sephora for the privilege to get our eyeballs on their products.

In my quest to discover the most effective, natural products, I’ve discovered there’s literally thousands of brands that work amazingly well that I never knew existed. Ergo, this list. Everything on it I’ve personally vetted for effectiveness.

You’re welcome!

Hawaiian Beauty Water, $30

Suki Concentrated Clarifying Toner, $22

EMMAUS Revealing Your Skin, starting at $60

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser, $32

Simple Sugars, $29

The Jojoba Company, starting at $10

Sustainable Youth Creamy Cleanser, $50

Root Pretty Pomegranate Anti Aging Serum, $26

Reisa by Truly Yours (BTW, every time I wear this I get so many compliments. It’s the ONLY perfume I have worn that people actually commented on and inquired what it was. The large bottle is quite expensive at $245. Opt for the perfume oil ($45) or the spray ($15).

This is the coolest idea–infusing exfoliating bath sponges with soap! Spongelle’, starting at around $16.
