Where are all the Black Media Reports Warning Black Women About Danueal Drayton?

Ladies, I realize that what I am about to say is preaching to the choir, but I think it is necessary to give a SPECIFIC INSTANCE of how the black community, it’s news and social media put more emphasis on the RARE crimes white men do against black women as a cautionary example of why black women should be frightened of ALL white men and just stay where they are. There was #JusticeforNia just last week, in direct response to a crazed white man who killed a beautiful girl on the BART train in Oakland. Go to YouTube and you it is proliferated with videos about Nia and the evils of white men and how inherently evil they all are. I’ve even had trolls come to me and DEMAND that I make comment on this, for the “saftey” of black women I have a “responsibility” to “warn” them.

Meanwhile, it is 4 times more likely that something like what confessed serial killer, Danueal Drayton, a good-looking, clean cut PSYCHOPATH is more of an everyday danger to black women. If folks really care about the well-being of black women, they should be highlighting exactly what has happened in this video.

An unsurprising thing I discovered is that all the white-supremacy-boogeymen alarmists on YouTube and other places have been deadly silent on this man, when last week they were UP IN ARMS about poor Nia Wilson. So what is the black community trying to tell us? Is a black woman’s life more valuable when a white man kills her than when a black man does? From the (non) reaction from the big mouths on social media, it seems as if black women are not important at all, just gambits in a war by proxy.

Perhaps worse is the near silence from the BLACK WOMEN who have social media platforms staying silent when this is a PRIME opportunity to have a conversation about online safety when dating.

Take a look at this quote from a think piece on Huffington Post written by a black woman: On The Killing Of Nia Wilson And The Anxiety Of Being A Black Woman

But in America, we’re not allowed to blame white supremacy, a material force in the lives of its black citizens that has produced a war and an ongoing terrorist campaign — sometimes state-sponsored — against them. To point to white supremacy as the thing fueling the flame of spiritual and mental illness is to point to the phantom that nobody will engage with, that nobody with any real power in this country will admit exists.

I patiently await her writing a piece on how black men are 4.4 times as likely to kill black women in intimate partner relationships. Hmmm….

Right now, I would like to invite you to search for videos and new articles on Drayton and compare them to videos on Nia Wilson. You can clearly see what I’m reporting is the absolute truth.

At this point, if you can’t see how the black community uses selective outrage to fit a narrative and IGNORE the OBVIOUS AND REAL dangers we face that are multiple times more likely, then you must be one of them.

Where are all the black feminist blogs to address this? All of the news media warning black women so they can be well informed?

At this point, it’s all a joke. Problem is, joke’s on us.
