Low-Sugar, Low Carb BBQ Chicken Pizza Recipe

Ever since I’ve started with “The Belly Fat Cure,” swearing off sugar and tons of carbs, by far my most favorite recipe is the bbq chicken. I practically have it every day for lunch along with a can of Zevia and if I’m good, a small salad. The barbeque you use is zero-calorie and zero-sugar, and it tastes pretty good. All in all, this dish only has 2 grams of sugar and has only two servings of carbs (2/2 ratio).

1 six-inch Sara Lee Mr. Pita Whole Wheat Pita Bread

2 tablespoons Scott’s Barbeque Sauce

handful of grated mozzarella

2 tablespoons (or whatever) of cooked, shredded chicken

A little sliced red onion (or if you’re fancy, a few slices of shallot)

organic cilantro

Set your oven to 425 degrees

Spread two tablespoons of the barbeque sauce and sprinkle a few leaves of chopped cilantro

Layer the sauce and cilantro with mozzarella

sprinkle the chicken and onions/shallots on top

sprinkle a little more mozzarella and a few more leaves of cilantro to taste.

Bake on a cookie sheet for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
